Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will provide leadership, governance, and oversight for large-scale strategic technology programs with executive-level visibility. You will be responsible for managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, integrated systems, and cross-functional teams while ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational objectives, quality standards, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large, complex technology projects and strategic initiatives throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Engage directly with executive stakeholders, sponsors, vendors, and project teams to ensure alignment and project success.

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and deliverables.

• Establish project controls to proactively identify changes impacting scope, cost, quality, or schedule.

• Coordinate and direct day-to-day project activities, priorities, dependencies, and team deliverables.

• Manage project risks, issues, escalations, and mitigation strategies while communicating status to leadership.

• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, governance standards, and reporting requirements.

• Facilitate executive-level meetings, sponsor reviews, stakeholder communications, and project health reporting.

• Monitor project quality, performance, and delivery outcomes to ensure business objectives are achieved.

• Support organizational objectives by contributing to project management best practices, process improvements, and operational initiatives.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 5+ years of experience managing projects within complex matrixed organizations.

• 5+ years of experience applying Project Management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and executive-level communications.

• 5+ years of experience resolving high-priority conflicts, competing priorities, and project challenges.

• 5+ years of experience supporting system development, implementation, modernization, or enhancement initiatives.

• Strong experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource coordination.

• Proficiency in analyzing project data, identifying issues, and developing actionable recommendations.

• Strong facilitation, negotiation, consensus-building, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to lead large teams, manage vendors, and coordinate cross-functional project efforts.

• Experience in government or public sector environments and prior roles such as Program Manager, Project Manager, or Project Coordinator is preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
