As a key member of the oncology team, you'll provide critical support to patients undergoing radiation treatments, ensuring both safety and sensitivity throughout the process.


Schedule:

• 36-40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• No on-call or holiday hours required

Qualifications:

• Valid certification and state licensure as a Radiation Therapist
• Experience operating advanced radiation therapy equipment
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate treatment records

Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal dosing
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to their concerns
• Maintain up-to-date treatment documentation and patient records
• Follow all safety regulations and infection control standards
• Communicate treatment processes clearly to patients and their families
• Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold highest standards of care
