Seasonal Tax Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Owning the full lifecycle of tax returns, the part-time Seasonal Tax Accountant will prepare individual and business tax returns, perform quality assurance checks, and identify tax savings opportunities while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065) and associated schedules Perform high-level self-review of complex returns and validate critical fields using AI-assisted diagnostics Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for compliance and filing Required Qualifications Active PTIN required; Enrolled Agent license or CPA strongly preferred Minimum 4-6 years of experience preparing and reviewing individual and entity-level tax returns Proficiency with cloud-based tax software, preferably Lacerte, and strong Excel skills Broad working knowledge of industry-specific tax treatment Prior remote work experience required
