Manager, Contracts (Onsite)

Manager, Contracts Location: 22260 Pacific Blvd, BLDG 60, Dulles, VA 20190 Position Type: Onsite, U.S. Citizen, or eligible U.S. Person. Active/transferable TS/SCI clearance without polygraph required on day one. What You Will Do Work closely with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful contract execution. Provide guidance on contractual and business issues, advising on rights, obligations, and risk mitigation. Act as key contributor during pre‑proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and startup phases. Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and BAAs; construct, submit, and negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing. Negotiate contracts and support program management and execution reviews. Work independently in a fast‑paced, multitask environment, developing effective partnerships with customers and internal teams. Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience. 5+ years of experience specifically with contracts and/or subcontracts. Experience with US Government contracts under FAR/DFARS. Strong knowledge of FFP, FPIF, and CPFF contract types. Demonstrated ability to develop customer and partner relationships. Professional written and verbal communication skills at all levels. Analytical, interpersonal, and time‑management skills with a record of responsiveness.
