As a Part-Time Certified Home Health Aide at Owen Health Care in Roselle Park, NJ, you will be instrumental in delivering compassionate care under the guidance of a professional Nurse or Therapist. Your responsibilities include assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, oral care, and dressing, while also ensuring their safety by observing and reporting any hazards or significant changes in their condition. You will participate in staff meetings and complete required training, contributing to a culture of excellence. Maintaining patient confidentiality is paramount, as is your ability to follow both written and oral instructions. You will document vital signs and provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as ambulation, transportation, and socialization.

Collaboration with the RN is key, particularly in reporting patient complaints and abnormal findings, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients.

To excel as a Part-Time Certified Home Health Aide at Owen Health Care, a range of skills and capabilities are essential. Effective communication is paramount; employees must possess sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to interact successfully with clients and team members. Visual acuity and observational skills are necessary for reviewing important information in both electronic and print formats. Manual dexterity is required to operate essential equipment, including personal computers and telephones. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, enabling them to lift, move, or assist clients as needed.
