Leasing Specialist

Company Description BMOC Inc. is a property management company based in Madison, Wisconsin, steps from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The team has several years of experience managing student housing, market‑rate communities, and fraternity/sorority properties. BMOC is an active IREM property management company and follows IREM’s professional code of ethics, emphasizing integrity and high standards of service. Property managers are supported in earning industry‑recognized credentials such as Accredited Residential Manager certification. BMOC also offers centralized support for marketing, branding, and online presence, including social media, website updates, and partnerships with multiple Internet Listing Systems. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Leasing Specialist role based in Madison, WI. The Leasing Specialist will greet and assist prospective residents, provide property tours, answer questions, and clearly communicate community features, pricing, and policies. This role will manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through application, screening, and lease signing while ensuring accurate and timely completion of all lease documents. The Leasing Specialist will support resident retention by responding promptly to resident concerns, coordinating with property management and maintenance teams, and promoting a positive living experience. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining up‑to‑date listings, assisting with marketing efforts, tracking leasing activity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with current and prospective residents. Experience with leases and lease administration, including processing applications, preparing lease documents, and maintaining accurate records. Resident retention skills, with the ability to build rapport, address concerns, and support a positive resident experience. Basic proficiency with property management or CRM software and comfort working with online listing platforms. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple inquiries and deadlines. Knowledge of or willingness to learn fair housing laws and general property management practices. High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education or relevant certifications in real estate or property management are a plus. Ability to work on‑site in Madison, WI, including some evenings and weekends as needed for showings and events. #J-18808-Ljbffr
