This role will be performed remotely, utilizing a telehealth model designed to accommodate the needs of our clients. Our practice is open seven days a week, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, providing the flexibility necessary to meet a diverse client base. You will have the support of an experienced team, including access to case consultation groups and administrative assistance to ensure that you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health histories, trauma experiences, and readiness for specific treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to enhance recovery and improve client outcomes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients to process trauma experiences and develop positive coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies related to trauma, offering immediate support and resources for clients in need.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma response, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client interactions are thoroughly recorded.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge and practices into your work.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

Preferred Experience\n
