ADMISSIONS REP/REGISTRAR (PER DIEM)

Responsibilities Responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives, ensuring that necessary admission information is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Plays a pivotal role in operational efficiency of healthcare service delivery. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of two years hands‑on experience in a hospital registration setting or urgent care preferred. Comprehensive understanding of patient admission processes. Computer proficiency including word processing and patient accounting systems. Knowledge of HIPAA and PCI compliance required. Insurance knowledge preferred. Ability to provide service appropriate to the patient’s age, and for some positions, accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual target language.
