MIG Welder/Fabricator – 1st ShiftMIG Welder/Fabricator – 1st ShiftWinsted, MN 55395$20.00-$25.00/hrFullTimeJob DescriptionAbout the Opportunity: Job Title: MIG Welder/Fabricator Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$25.00/hr Location: Winsted, MN Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications: Basic knowledge of MIG welding and welding fundamentals. Ability to set up and operate welding equipment. Metal fabrication experience is preferred. Experience operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, rollers, or similar machinery is a plus. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn new skills. Comfortable performing a variety of tasks throughout the shop, not just welding. Ability to work independently while also being a reliable member of a team. Ability to lift and carry 75lbs.Duties and Responsibilities: This role is a mix of welding and general shop duties, so we're looking for someone who is flexible, has a positive attitude, and is always willing to jump in where needed. Perform MIG welding on thick and thin-gauge materials. Cut, grind, hammer, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly. Set up welding jigs and fixtures to ensure quality and consistency. Assist with general metal fabrication and shop projects as needed. Operate and help set up welding equipment safely and efficiently. Work with fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, rollers, and other shop machinery. Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds, with overhead cranes available to assist with heavier materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
