Location: Kansas City, MO
Shifts: Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $30.04 – $41.50/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials:
• • +$4/hour Nights
  • +$4/hour Weekends
• Sign-On Bonus:
• • $30,000 (Nights, 2-year commitment)
  • $10,000 (Days, 2-year commitment)
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This unit treats adult patients with a mix of medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurological conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who want to build strong clinical foundations and expand into specialty care areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using evidence-based practices
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Deliver direct patient care and supervise support staff
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience
• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS certification required upon hire

Unit Details

• Specialty Units: Neuro, Ortho, Nephrology
• Beds per Unit: 49
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1
