Inventory Control SpecialistThe Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in managing the inventory control system according to established policies and procedures. This position ensures acceptable inventory levels through various tasks and responsibilities, including reviewing system reports, monitoring data accuracy, participating in physical inventories, and assisting with sales and customer inquiries.Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and monitor system reports to determine necessary materials management actions such as ordering or liquidating materialsOversee and verify system data input to ensure the accuracy of inventory reports and prevent discrepanciesParticipate in physical inventories and reconcile various reports, including daily billing registers, gross margin exceptions, and negative inventory reports. Address and correct errors to maintain inventory accuracyProvide inventory information to the sales team for effective sales planning and customer delivery coordinationMaintain accurate records and documentation related to material receipt and inventory adjustment transactionsManage records for "CERTS" (physical and mechanical content of material) for both internal and external locations.
