The Marketing Analyst supports profitable growth and commercial effectiveness through data-driven marketing analysis. This role involves developing and maintaining tools, systems, and processes to analyze data and inform pricing, strategy, and product/service decisions. Responsibilities also include customer and product trend analysis, data standardization and pricing/margin reviews.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing and sales activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of ongoing reports. Conduct large quote pricing reviews using historical data to maximize revenue and margin. Track sales/margin activity by customer, industry segment, and product lines to identify trends and recommend action. Understand and analyze customer needs, objectives, and requirements to develop and recommend pricing strategies. Research and collect data on prices, competitors, and market conditions to support pricing decisions. Create PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments. Provide data-driven insights to justify action in proposed marketing initiatives. Collaborate with cross-function teams to implement marketing (and other) programs that improve the product/service offering. Any other reasonable activity as directed by the Pricing and Marketing Analytics Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in marketing, quantitative discipline, or business related field 2+ years of marketing and/or sales experience Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills Working knowledge with CRM programs Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player Proven ability to effectively communicate cross functionally and vertically within company
