Business Analyst II

Must currently reside in Oklahoma City metro area - Hybrid Position The Business Analyst II is accountable for ensuring that project solution(s) to relevant opportunities and/or problems meet the customer’s true needs. In working on medium‑size technology‑related projects or components of large projects of medium complexity and risk, and in collaboration with the project team, the role will: Elicit and capture current‑state process and requirements related to the problem or opportunity, and facilitate understanding of the business true need following best practices. Collaborate with the team to define solution options that are technical and business in nature. Analyze and evaluate solution options, considering business, technical, security requirements, cost, and benefits. Refine and clarify requirements to support solution development and implementation. Train/mentor colleagues on business analysis best practices, SDLC best practices, and cross‑functional project dependencies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (four‑year) in Business, IT, MIS, or related area preferred; 7 years experience in Business Analysis will be considered. 5–7 years experience, with at least 3 years job‑specific experience. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, conflict‑management, problem‑solving, analytical, communication, facilitation, and teaching skills. Ability to elicit, analyze, communicate, verify, and validate requirements and to produce clear technical and user‑friendly specifications. Strong business process mapping, data‑relationship analysis, system integration, and development platform knowledge. Experience in system development life cycles and various project management methodologies. Self‑motivated and able to work with little supervision. Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (e.g., CCBA) preferred. Lean / Six Sigma experience a plus. Insurance industry coursework or designations preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr American Fidelity
