MRI Technologist - Part-Time Variable

Description MRI Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. This is an unique role strictly for working up devices, performing safety reviews of implants, and approving patients with implanted devices for MRI scheduling. The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Required Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Upon hire: Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License. New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
