Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring that each assessment is thorough and rooted in clinical standards.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring goals and strategies to meet their unique needs and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic and integrative approach to each client’s care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance the efficacy of therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to refine clinical skills and align with best practices in treating mood disorders.

• Advocate for clients, working to remove the stigma associated with mental health challenges and promoting comprehensive support for their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, recognizing the uniqueness of each person's experience and tailoring your approach to their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Proven expertise in applying evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the collaborative relationships necessary between therapists and psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n
