Job Description

Coordinates maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment used in operating room.

Job Responsibility

1.Ensures maintenance of surgical implants and supply par levels; places purchase orders for required surgical implants and supplies; receives surgical supply deliveries.

2.Verifies accuracy of deliveries with purchase orders on file.

3.Transports and stores items in appropriate locations. Enters implant tracking serial numbers into department computer system.

4.Reviews daily case schedule and pick lists and prepares case carts accordingly.

5.Enters each patient's surgical supply profile in department computer system.

6.Captures and records surgical supply charges for all surgical cases.

7.Identifies and corrects implant and supply discrepancies, as needed.

8.Maintains constant communication with Purchasing, Materials Management, and related departments.

9.Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience, required.

• Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience, required.

• Peri-op Materials Management strongly preferred.

• Prior work experience in OR setting strongly preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 10lbs and push up to 300lbs strongly preferred.

When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The salary range for this position is $27.39-$32.74/hour
