Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and initial screenings to identify students' mental health needs, thereby formulating appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and academic stress.
\n
• Facilitate therapy groups and skill-building workshops, focused on topics like coping strategies, resilience, and mindfulness, tailored specifically for students.

• Collaborate effectively with campus partners—such as academic advisors, faculty, and student organizations—to create a comprehensive support network for students.

• Engage in outreach initiatives and wellness campaigns, promoting mental health awareness and proactive involvement in student well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations related to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working within a diverse college student population, each facing unique academic and personal challenges. Many students will present with anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues as they navigate the pressures of higher education. Your role will not only enhance their well-being but also contribute to their overall academic performance and social integration.

Qualifications\n

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor , including designations such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline is required, though a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the mental health challenges typical among the college demographic, showcasing an ability to connect empathetically with students.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and collaborate with a broad spectrum of faculty and staff.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and short-term cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, tailored for an academic counseling setting.

• A proven ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all students receive timely and effective care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a counseling setting, specifically working with adolescents or young adults.

• Experience in developing and implementing mental health programs aimed at promoting student wellness.

• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary collaboration, demonstrating an ability to work coherently with other professionals in the educational setting.

• We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
