As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, responding to access-control alarms, and providing outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.85 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized personnel according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Prepare accurate reports and maintain access-control logs, visitor records, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
