Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Belleville, MI. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Pay & Benefits Pay: $1,520 or more per week Hourly Pay: $32.00 per hour Hours per week: 45+ with flexibility (Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday) Bonuses: Tenure Bonus $300 quarterly; Loyalty Bonus $1,500 at 6 months and $1,500 at 1 year Paid training and 24/7 roadside maintenance on trucks 36 months or newer Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover available now with company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility criteria) Route & Equipment Deliver to MI, OH, IN, and potentially IL Local home daily route Tractor type: Day Cab Trailer type: Flatbed 48' Automatic transmissions are not accepted Freight: Touch/Load securement – steel and metal Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations and guidelines. Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs. Load, unload freight, or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Class A CDL and required endorsements. Relevant tractor‑trailer experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years. Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background and Motor‑Vehicle check (including verification from previous employers for last 3 years), DOT physical, and Ryder road test. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.
