Position: Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Edenbrook Lakeside a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct therapy services to residents under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate resident progress or any concerns to the Occupational Therapist, supervisor, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Instruct families and nursing staff on patient follow-through programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain documentation of treatment provided and progress made in accordance with facility guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all equipment used during therapy sessions is in safe working order, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow facility protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing in the state of Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting is preferred but not required
