Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans designed to address the diverse needs of each patient.

• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed about clients' progress.

• Organize and manage a tentative schedule for client appointments, home visits, and follow-up observations to monitor therapeutic advancements.
\n
• Facilitate home visits and in-home observations, conducting chart reviews and staff interviews for comprehensive data analysis.
\n
• Implement and evaluate program plans, ensuring all interventions are executed effectively to promote positive outcomes.
\n
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for client care.
\n
• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes, documenting client progress and treatment efficacy.
\n
• Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits, ensuring continued responsiveness to client needs.
\n
• Record and maintain client and program documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Serve as a liaison for the mental health community, advocating for clients and supporting local mental health initiatives.

• Assist in the development of training materials and conduct workshops to enhance team competencies and promote best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including both adults and youth facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, and specific therapeutic modalities will greatly benefit clients from different backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique journeys toward healing and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
\n
• Active, unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.

• Preferred specialization in areas such as trauma, substance misuse, or family and couples therapy.
\n
• Strong grasp of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse clientele and multidisciplinary team.

• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Although a minimum of two years’ experience is essential, candidates with specialized training or certification in areas like trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or play therapy will be highly regarded. Experience working in telehealth settings will also be considered advantageous.

• Annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
