Project Engineer - Life Sciences

Project Engineer – Construction In this role you will be based on the construction project site and will service clients in a multi‑state region, possibly traveling across the country. You will assist through closeout within the Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceuticals sector and work on large, complex, iconic design‑build projects $30 million and above. The project engineer is part of a team responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout. Responsibilities Build client and subcontractor relationships. Team with architects, engineers and planners to create and manage a design schedule. Assist in establishing project forecasts and budgets. Manage costs. Accept responsibility for project execution. Mentor and develop interns and new incoming project management staff. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field. 0–5 years of experience managing construction projects, ideally design‑build. Knowledge of construction principles, practices and technology. Experience on a successful project‑management team. Ability to walk a job site, climb ladders and scale multi‑floor scaffolding.
