Safety Officer

Location: Austin, TX (Office-based; monthly travel to all Tri Supply locations required) Company: Tri Supply Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview Tri Supply is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer to oversee and enhance workplace safety across our warehouse, showroom, and delivery operations. The Safety Officer will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with OSHA and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of safety among all employees. This position is based in Austin, TX and requires monthly travel to all company locations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies and procedures Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and applicable state/local regulations Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions Maintain safety documentation, logs, and compliance records Deliver safety training programs including new hire orientations and equipment certification Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks Partner with warehouse, showroom, and delivery teams to promote safe practices Oversee proper handling and storage of building materials and equipment Coordinate emergency response planning and drills Travel monthly to all Tri Supply locations to conduct safety evaluations and training Track and analyze safety trends to reduce incidents Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years of safety experience in warehouse, distribution, or construction-related environments OSHA 30 certification Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credential First Aid/CPR certification Combination of office, warehouse, and retail showroom settings. Position is based in Austin, TX with required monthly travel to all Tri Supply locations. Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and conduct inspections in operational environments.
