Clinical Supervisor - LMFT, LCSW, PEER SPECIALIST

Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Clinical Supervisor specializing in behavioral health, child and family counseling, and crisis intervention. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise a team of licensed professionals and peer specialists, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. Duties Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians (LMFT, LCSW) and peer specialists, fostering professional growth and ensuring adherence to clinical standards. Oversee clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for individuals across age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. Lead individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care for conditions like PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer’s care, and developmental disabilities. Coordinate crisis intervention efforts in emergency situations, ensuring safety while delivering immediate support through crisis management protocols. Supervise group therapy sessions focused on social work principles, mental health counseling techniques, and behavioral health strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while complying with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Conduct patient assessments and case management activities to optimize individualized care plans and facilitate seamless service delivery across home and community settings. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Proven supervisory experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling environments. Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children, families, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care needs, Alzheimer’s care, addiction counseling, or crisis management. Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, medical records management, and intake procedures. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a positive work environment. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
