Registered Nurse Trauma
Schedule: Shift: Nights 3x12s (7:00 PM7:00 AM) - Schedule includes weekend and holiday night coverage
Requirements: Minimum 2 years RN experience, Valid compact or state RN license required, Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills, Experience in ventilator management and care of ventilated patients, IV vasopressor and central line care/management, Blood product administration skills, Neuro support skills: EVD, ICP monitoring, General acute care skills: PCA, pain management, post-op care
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a trauma setting. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Compliance / Notes: Strict credentialing/fingerprinting deadline: Tuesday prior to start. Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately after signing contract. RTO required with submission. Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
