Facility:
This is a well-established hospital facility featuring an oncology clinic directly attached to a chemo treatment center, providing comprehensive cancer care services to the surrounding community. The facility is a COC accredited program managing approximately 500 analytic cases each year, offering providers a robust and supportive clinical environment.

Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide both inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology services with 12-15 patient encounters per shift
• Work schedule follows clinic and call coverage with shift times of 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm, Monday through Friday
• Minimum of 4 weeks of shifts required per month with 8 guaranteed hours per day
• On-call responsibilities include weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call, with providers on call 1 out of every 3 weeks
• Phone-only call response required; no on-site callback after hours or on weekends
• Providers must hold an active California medical license; licensed in CA only
• Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
• DEA registration required; BLS certification required
• Two years of current inpatient case logs in the specialty required for hospital privileges
• All gaps in clinical activity greater than 3 months must be explained
• Providers with a clean file may be eligible for temporary privileges for an earlier start date
• Providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
• Start date: October 1, 2026 - Ongoing
