Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility that features modern equipment and resources tailored for physical therapy and sports medicine. The facility is designed to foster a collaborative atmosphere, where professionals exchange knowledge and support each other in their commitment to patient care. The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, enabling a work-life balance that promotes well-being for both our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized and tailored care plans to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient you serve.
• Manage a reasonable patient load to ensure dedicated and focused attention to all individuals under your care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to guide patients through rehabilitation processes effectively.
• Employ cost-effective treatment methodologies that enhance patient mobility and function while reducing reliance on medications.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, providing encouragement and support to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Promote overall health and wellness by focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among patients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure seamless communication.
• Continuously assess and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided, utilizing our EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient record keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We cater to a diverse demographic, ranging from athletes needing rehabilitation after sports injuries to older adults seeking help with age-related movement challenges. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make significant impacts on their recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and familiarity with clinical orthopedic assessments.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience and comfort using electronic medical records software, particularly Web PT.
• Awareness of the latest research-supported physical therapy techniques and treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Prior roles involving sports rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with community engagement initiatives and promoting wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
