Work Environment

Your work will primarily take place on-site as you visit patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of each patient to identify their specific rehabilitation needs and establish personalized goals.
• Maintain a caseload of one patient per hour, delivering hands-on therapy that provides immediate and measurable improvements.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the latest technology, including EMR software like WebPT, to document patient progress and adapt treatment plans.
• Implement diverse therapy techniques and modalities tailored to rehabilitation, focusing on enhancing motion and reducing pain.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on effective home exercises and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients with orthopedic needs.
• Evaluate treatment results, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving patient specific goals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all provided services, patient interactions, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A Master's or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A strong professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and a keen understanding of exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Capability to navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for scheduling and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a focus on home care.

Compensation and Benefits
