Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in a home care setting, allowing for personalized interactions in the comfort of our patients' residences. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and tailor treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Manage a caseload, providing one-on-one physical therapy sessions to each patient, ensuring personalized attention and optimal recovery.
• Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at restoring range of motion, functional abilities, and mobility.
• Educate patients on exercise protocols, injury prevention techniques, and methods to enhance their day-to-day functioning.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and dietitians, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details meticulously using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adapt intervention strategies as necessary.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among your patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions impacting mobility. You will work with diverse demographics, including elderly patients seeking rehabilitation after falls, athletes recovering from sports injuries, and post-operative patients requiring guided physical therapy. The role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, addressing both physical ailments and emotional support during their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, while a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Maintain an exemplary professional record without any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing customized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of diverse treatment methodologies to enhance patient recovery.
• Experience utilizing collaborative approaches in teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of USD 90,000–120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
