Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Prairie Lakes PT Services LLC, you will:

• Actively direct and ensure the delivery of physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability and alleviating pain.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical function, utilizing diagnostic tests to inform treatment planning.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants, overseeing their execution of treatment plans and ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Assess clients' home environments to recommend modifications that enhance independence during their rehabilitation process.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and treatments, including manual techniques and the application of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices to improve clients' mobility.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to accurately track patient treatment journeys.
• Engage in case conferences with interdisciplinary team members, contributing to comprehensive care planning tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Consult with clients and their families, providing education and support regarding physical therapy devices and overall treatment progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient population is diverse in age and background, requiring a tailored and compassionate approach to ensure the highest standards of care. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with a clean standing.
• Certification in CPR and valid automobile insurance, alongside a driver's license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and multidisciplinary team members.
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and clinical excellence.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome fresh perspectives, candidates with at least one year of experience in a physical therapy setting—preferably in an outpatient or home care environment—will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits
