Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatments that focus on preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring function as outlined in each patient's plan of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic tests and assessments to develop tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure the proper execution of treatment protocols, adjusting plans as needed based on the patient's progress.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic exercises, switching between manual and non-manual methods, to help clients improve their physical capabilities.
• Recommend necessary adjustments for prosthetic and orthotic devices while maintaining ongoing communication with each patient's physician regarding modifications.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with healthcare professionals on total client treatment strategies, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Document clinical findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to maintain accurate clinical records for each patient.
• Engage patients and their families by providing education on therapy usage and overall rehabilitation processes, empowering them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and conditions that require rehabilitation services. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position lies between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
