Life Point Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Work Environment

As part of a collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will work onsite in a vibrant outpatient office setting. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify and address each patient's objectives and therapeutic needs.
• Manage a caseload with a commitment to one-on-one therapy sessions, devoting individualized attention to each patient, which allows for accurate tracking of progress.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance range of motion, mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patients, incorporating a variety of treatment techniques.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs aimed at long-term health and restoration of function.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and adjust plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Document all patient encounters and care services meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Motivate and encourage patients to engage actively in their rehabilitative process, reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle through strength, flexibility, and balance training.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers across disciplines to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal issues. Working closely with diverse backgrounds, you will help empower patients through education and self-management strategies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Strong competence in creating and executing individualized exercise protocols and comprehensive rehabilitation strategies.
• Experience with WebPT EMR Software is highly preferred to streamline documentation and improve workflow.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is essential, with a focus on rehabilitation following surgeries or injury.
• A proven track record of successful patient outcomes and the ability to motivate patients throughout their treatment journey.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
