Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center, equipped with advanced technology and therapeutic tools that facilitate effective treatment. You will be working within a supportive team that emphasizes collaboration among physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and fulfill the rehabilitation goals of individual patients through comprehensive assessments of their physical conditions and mobility.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one-on-one appointments, allowing for focused and personalized treatment each hour.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a wide range of therapeutic techniques tailored to address each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to help alleviate pain and enhance physical functionality.
• Design and lead specialized exercise programs that promote strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all sessions and care provided using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Advocate for non-surgical pain relief options and educate patients on the importance of lifestyle modifications to prevent further injury.
• Motivate and inspire patients through their rehabilitation journey, enhancing their adherence to treatment plans and fostering a positive attitude towards recovery.
• Regularly assess patient outcomes and use feedback to refine treatment strategies for improved results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At PhysioCare, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be vital in helping these individuals regain their mobility and independence, while promoting education on preventive care strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Strong familiarity with EMR systems like WebPT to ensure accurate documentation and streamlined workflows.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a sound understanding of rehabilitation practices.
• A track record of developing effective treatment plans and delivering results in a clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
