Work Environment

Working onsite at our facility located within a hospital setting, our clinic offers state-of-the-art equipment and resources to facilitate effective treatment for our patients. The work schedule includes Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic while allowing ample time to focus on patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' physical therapy needs, effectively identifying their goals for rehabilitation.
• Manage a patient case load, ensuring that each individual receives comprehensive, one-on-one therapeutic care for an hour at a time.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that leverage a variety of techniques to improve range of motion and mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to deliver high-quality interventions, always prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
• Motivate patients and provide encouragement throughout their recovery process, helping them to adhere to their treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to discuss treatment strategies and enhance the overall care continuum.
• Document all patient interactions rigorously, maintaining up-to-date records within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Evaluate and monitor treatment outcomes actively, adjusting care plans based on patient progress.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by advising on fitness and wellness initiatives designed to build strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, treating patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or seeking rehabilitation for injuries. We are dedicated to fostering independence and improving the overall physical capabilities of our clients. Each patient is treated as an individual, with their unique circumstances and goals guiding our approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions against it.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient care and maintain clinical records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing diverse physical therapy modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Background in collaborative healthcare settings, contributing to a patient-centered care approach.
• Skilled in motivational techniques that encourage patient adherence to treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
