Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused care during sessions, which may include techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evidence and outcomes to achieve optimal range of motion and functional independence.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, utilizing positive reinforcement and setting attainable goals for success.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and integrate feedback into care plans, enhancing overall treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients on lifestyle changes that promote recovery, including strategies for increased strength, flexibility, and overall health maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. This role provides you the opportunity to work with diverse clients of varying ages and physical capabilities, allowing for tailored treatment interventions that meet individual goals and needs. Through both one-on-one interactions and group sessions, you will aim to improve functional outcomes and empower patients in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing customized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, with a focus on home care initiatives.
• Previous involvement in creating treatment regimens centered around patient independence and quality of life improvements.
• Demonstrated skills in patient education, helping clients understand their conditions and recovery processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits include:
