Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify and address the individual objectives and needs of each patient.
• Manage a caseload to provide one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring that each session is focused and tailored to the patient's recovery goals.
• Utilize a range of orthopedic assessment techniques to diagnose issues effectively and create targeted treatment plans.
• Implement cost-effective treatment interventions to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility while reducing reliance on medications.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate various modalities and therapeutic techniques to foster optimal recovery.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs, with a focus on achieving functional independence for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be serving patients with orthopedic conditions, primarily those with private medical insurance. You will work collaboratively with patients of all ages, each dealing with different challenges related to musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain management. Your expert guidance will be vital in empowering them to regain functionality and lead active lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, essential for treating orthopedic patients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
