Work Environment

Our clinic boasts a spacious and modern 5,000 square foot facility, equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology to support our patients' diverse needs. You will work in a collaborative onsite setting alongside two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' physical limitations and establish effective treatment goals.
• Manage a patient caseload, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
• Design individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, techniques, and exercises.
• Utilize manual therapy skills to improve patients' mobility and strength, focusing on reducing pain and enhancing function.
• Encourage patient motivation and adherence through education and support regarding their treatment protocols.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Advocate for patients, exploring alternatives to medication and invasive surgical procedures where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess a valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic assessment and treatment.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, where they have successfully managed similar caseloads and provided high-quality patient care. Experience developing and implementing exercise protocols and a solid foundation in evidence-based practice can further enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits
