Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment programs that align with medical directives and individual goals.
• Execute a wide range of therapeutic interventions across multiple specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Utilize effective communication skills to educate and guide patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and encouraging active participation in their recovery.
• Provide skilled care that adheres to evidence-based practices, regularly assessing and adjusting treatment strategies based on patients' progress.
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence, fostering strong patient relationships that promote trust and engagement throughout the healing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, identifying opportunities for shared insights and integrated care approaches.
• Attend regular professional development workshops to stay updated on the latest practices and innovations in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will treat a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various physical disabilities. Our goal is to keep patients moving through personalized rehabilitation plans that address their specific conditions and lifestyle needs. Building rapport with patients and their families is essential, as you will play a vital role in guiding them toward achieving their health and wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Active state license for physical therapy practice in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in documentation and electronic records.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy and motivational communication.
• Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with data entry and clinical software.

Compensation and Benefits

Citizens Physiocare Therapy Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
