Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and results.

• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure in Florida to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, with the ability to foster relationships with patients and their families.
• Strong computer skills for documentation and patient management systems.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is welcomed but not mandatory.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification ensuring preparedness for emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits
