Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings, tests, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment of patients with injuries, diseases, and disabilities, utilizing evidence-based physical therapy methods and modalities.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, fostering their understanding and participation in the recovery process.
• Tailor physical therapy services to a diverse patient demographic, demonstrating skills in providing care to neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices to ensure high-quality treatment and care delivery.
• Perform thorough evaluations by gathering subjective and objective patient data, developing individualized plans of care with measurable goals.
• Adhere to productivity standards while accurately documenting all patient interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory and facility procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, communicating patient needs and treatment plans to families, physicians, and support staff.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants and other staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and a supportive learning environment.
• Engage in quality improvement processes, leveraging clinical outcomes data to elevate patient satisfaction and care effectiveness.
• Participate in departmental operations, including resource management and scheduling to ensure smooth clinic functionality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current state Physical Therapist license is required.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare environment preferred.
