Work Environment

In our state-of-the-art facility, you will be immersed in a dynamic atmosphere that prioritizes patient care and professional growth. You will work within a structured schedule, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for work-life balance while meeting our patients' needs with dedication.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, establish diagnosis, and develop individualized treatment plans based on a thorough understanding of each patient's unique needs.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing various techniques to enhance movement, alleviate pain, and improve overall function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to address multidisciplinary aspects of patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, self-care strategies, and ways to cope with their conditions, fostering a collaborative healthcare relationship.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care activities, using EMR software such as WebPT, to ensure compliance and facilitate effective communication within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals seeking outpatient rehabilitation services, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, and those managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or postural issues. You will employ your expertise to develop tailored fitness and wellness programs, addressing goals pertinent to each patient's lifestyle and rehabilitation objectives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Must hold an active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in Florida, with no history of sanctions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• A strong background in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy research and techniques, committed to continuing education and professional development.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate data management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly advantageous.
• Experience in developing programs focused on athletic rehabilitation or post-operative recovery.
• Familiarity with collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to enhance the effectiveness of care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
