Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing physical conditions and determining appropriate therapy techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's needs and recovery goals.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and exercises, particularly focusing on orthopedic conditions, to facilitate patient improvement.
• Engage in ongoing consultations with patients and their caregivers, providing education on injury prevention and therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain clear documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills that contribute to an inviting and effective therapy experience, reinforcing positive relationships with patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE program.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, showcasing advanced clinical knowledge.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with Florida regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
