Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed evaluations of residents, assessing their physical capabilities, mobility limitations, and rehabilitative needs.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress through electronic health records, adapting treatment protocols as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to create cohesive care strategies.
• Developing individualized treatment plans aimed at improving residents' strength, mobility, and functional independence, utilizing both exercise and manual therapy techniques.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises designed to address specific physical impairments and facilitate recovery.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding home exercise routines and wellness strategies to promote self-management and sustained health improvement.
• Ensuring all practices comply with relevant state and federal regulations while adhering to the highest professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Familiarity with the geriatric population is advantageous, as many of our residents are older adults seeking to regain mobility and independence after orthopedic interventions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to their rehabilitation journeys, fostering better health outcomes.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's Degree or Doctorate is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, along with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, to effectively interact with residents and team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or working closely with the elderly population is preferred, we also value a strong clinical background in outpatient orthopedic settings. Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a full benefits package.
