Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Perfect Ratio, you will work in an onsite rehabilitation facility, fully equipped to handle a variety of therapy needs. Key Responsibilities

• Implement customized physical therapy treatment plans designed to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and restore muscle function in alignment with the client's capabilities.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they adhere to the effective implementation of tailored therapy plans for every patient.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical function using diagnostic tests and assessments, enabling a clear understanding of their recovery needs.
• Assess the patient's home environment and make actionable recommendations that support greater independence and facilitate optimal rehabilitation.
• Administer manual therapeutic exercises and guide clients through non-manual exercises while providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities including traction and massage, adapting treatments based on patient progress and needs.
• Evaluate and modify the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices to enhance patient mobility, collaborating closely with physicians on any necessary changes.
• Contribute actively to interdisciplinary team meetings, providing insights and participating in holistic care planning for clients.
• Document all clinical records including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately for the client database.
• Engage with clients' families to educate and advise on physical therapy devices and the overall therapy process, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Complete initial functional assessments and modify treatment plans as necessary to enhance community resource utilization for clients.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and clinical excellence throughout all interactions and treatments.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current valid PT licensure in the state of Florida, maintaining good standing.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
• A demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and quality care.
