Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, alleviate pain, improve muscle function, and maintain optimal performance, as per each client's individual capabilities.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of client functions using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Provide oversight to physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to the planned course of therapy and other regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate the home environment where rehabilitation will take place, making informed recommendations to enhance the client's independence in their daily activities.
• Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with physician prescriptions, including administering manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and other modalities such as massage and physical agents.
• Engage in the formulation and ongoing revision of care plans while documenting all clinical activities, including initial assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss comprehensive patient management strategies.
• Educate patients and families about physical therapy devices and the continuum of care needed for optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical and payroll documentation in compliance with established policies.
• Carry out various administrative duties as required to achieve company objectives and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist in either an acute care or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
