We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Seaport Orthopedic PT in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This full-time role involves working directly with a diverse range of orthopedic patients in an outpatient setting, where you will utilize your expertise to design and implement tailored therapy programs aimed at restoring function and promoting recovery.

Work Environment

This position is based in Pembroke Pines, Florida, an area known for its vibrant community and convenient access to healthcare facilities. You will work onsite in our outpatient facility and during home care visits, ensuring personalized, direct patient interaction. The work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, including strength, mobility, and functional performance.
• Implement advanced diagnostic techniques to evaluate each patient's specific treatment requirements.
• Develop and execute individualized therapy programs that aim to alleviate pain, restore function, and improve mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and various specialized modalities.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, injury prevention techniques, and prescribed home exercise plans.
• Foster collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, case managers, and other healthcare providers to enhance patient care and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to reflect changing patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals with orthopedic conditions, and those rehabilitating post-surgery. Each patient requires a unique treatment approach that you will develop based on their individual circumstances, lifestyle, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Clinical experience of at least 2 years in an orthopedic and sports medicine setting.
• Demonstrated competency in patient assessment and treatment; familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• A passionate commitment to patient care and the drive to facilitate meaningful recovery outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with various rehabilitation technology and systems that enhance patient care and streamline workflows.

Compensation and Benefits
