This full-time position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Hallandale, Florida. As a Physical Therapist, you will work within a multidisciplinary team that comprises other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation nurses, providing a holistic approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function while adapting care according to each patient's specific needs.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional levels using diagnostic assessments of muscle, nerve, and joint capabilities to formulate effective treatment strategies.
• Deliver manual therapeutic exercises and guide patients through self-care activities, ensuring they are motivated and adhering to their treatment plans.
• Administer various treatments including traction, massage, and physical agent modalities, applying evidence-based practices to enhance recovery.
• Assess the necessity for prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing fitting and adjustment services, and collaborating with physicians on modifications.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation using electronic medical record systems, ensuring compliance with health regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Many of our clients are motivated individuals of various ages who seek to regain their mobility and functionality. As a key figure in their recovery, you will not only evaluate their physical capabilities but also provide emotional support and encouragement throughout their journey to wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings, showcasing a strong foundation in patient assessment and treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compassionate manner to patients and their families.
• Proficiency in managing electronic medical records and familiarity with various therapy modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in other areas such as geriatrics and acute care will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
• Previous exposure to outpatient clinic settings is desired.

Compensation and Benefits
