Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to inform treatment strategies and objectives.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic methodologies such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain relief.
• Implement and monitor rehabilitation programs, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the benefits of their therapy programs, fostering adherence and motivation.
• Utilize outcome measures to track and document patient progress, ensuring that care is responsive and patient-centered.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and pain management specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes with sports injuries, and adults managing chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping them regain function, reduce pain, and restore their independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a strong focus on orthopedic treatment approaches.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessing and treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
