Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed, utilizing data-driven methods to optimize treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create cohesive care plans that address all aspects of patient health.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on home exercise regimens and techniques to promote long-term health and recovery.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, to address specific physical impairments and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient status and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, encompassing a wide range of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, acute and chronic pain management, and rehabilitation for degenerative joint diseases. You will be working with both active and non-active individuals across various age groups, with a significant emphasis on promoting mobility and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Proven capabilities in delivering patient-centered care with a commitment to best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
