Work Environment

This role is onsite at our clinic, where you will engage directly with patients in a welcoming and state-of-the-art physical therapy facility. Your typical work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible environment conducive to both patient care and professional growth. As part of our clinic, you will collaborate with a diverse team of health professionals committed to delivering the highest standards of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address patients' specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused treatment sessions aimed at improving mobility.
• Utilize a combination of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to deliver efficient and effective treatment plans.
• Develop individualized care plans that incorporate a blend of therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' physical capabilities.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize results.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously, maintaining accurate records to support continuity of care.
• Provide education on injury prevention, exercise, and overall wellness to empower patients to take charge of their recovery.
• Conduct motivational sessions to inspire patients and keep them engaged throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on helping individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This includes sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. By leveraging your expertise, you will provide essential support to patients ranging from active athletes to seniors aiming to maintain their independence.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and the development of targeted exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT or similar systems, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing personalized fitness and wellness programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
